Who am I
Well... let's see if you can get to know me better.
I am the daughter of a now retired Canadian Military Service Member. I
was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, but grew up all across this great country
of ours. I also had the chance to experience life in other countries that
my father was stationed in, but the best days of my life were the summers
that I spent on a little island, Cape Sable Island, Nova Scotia, with
my grandparents.

I have come full circle now, and for the last 5 years I have been living
in Halifax, Nova Scotia. As you can see from my photos, I love to explore
this beautiful province, and see what's at the end of the road, although,
all roads I travel on are not all paved.
Photography
Photography has always been my passion. Back in the day of film, I would
save my allowance, baby-sit, mow lawns, shovel snow... anything to make
money to buy film, develop film, buy cameras, just to satisfy my passion.
My children claimed they never knew what their mother looked like without
a camera in front of her face...and I am now getting that same complaint
from my granddaughter.
Although, self taught, I love to create art using all the tools of the
trade, including, as people have told me, my unique eye for lighting and
colour.
Where you can find me
All year - Most Saturday mornings you will find me at the Alderney Landing
Farmers Market, at the Dartmouth Waterfront from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

May 1st - Oct. 31st, Weather permitting on the weekends, you will find
me on the Halifax Waterfront, by the big blue wave on Sackville landing.

Web Dezign
Although I have enjoyed creating several web pages myself, my son Tim now takes the lead in web site dezign and web application development using the ColdFusion programming language. Tim studied Digital Media Design at the International Academy of Design in 1998 - 1999 in Toronto. In 2001 Tim studied ColdFusion at Northern Elements in Mississauga (just outside of Toronto). For several years Tim worked for Public Works & Government Services Canada (PWGSC) as a Web and Multi Media Designer creating a wide variety of web sites, videos, animations, and presentations. After taking a break from the digital world, Tim has gotten back into web dezign and created this site. Whose site would be better to start with than his mothers? I'm sure more sites will be added to the portfolio page soon.
